Since March 2020, the Government of Alberta has compensated family doctors to use virtual care platforms. This helps our physicians meet our patient care needs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Currently our physicians are performing any virtual care appointments over the telephone, though in the future some of our physicians may expand to video care for select situations. When our physicians phone you, they may be calling from a blocked or unknown number, so please be sure to answer those calls.

Please note, not all issues and concerns can be attended to virtually and the decision to use this tool will be made by your provider. Further, virtual appointments are subject to shorter time allocation with your physician due to restrictions imposed by the Government of Alberta with this modality of care. If you have multiple concerns you'd like to address with your physician, please book multiple visits over the course of different days.
