Uninsured services are those that Alberta Health does not cover the cost of for Alberta residents. Therefore, patients must cover this cost. Payments for uninsured services can be made in cheque, cash, debit or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover). There will be a 4% surcharge for all debit or credit payments. You will receive an invoice for any payments.  

 

Please allow up to 4 weeks for completion of forms (as per the Alberta College of Physicians and Surgeons Standard). In certain circumstances, fees may be negotiated at physician discretion.

 

Unfortunately, as of April 1 2020 Seniors Drivers Medical Examinations are no longer funded by Alberta Health. Seniors over the age of 74.5 are now required to pay privately for the cost of these examinations.
